Account Level & Roles

The service consists of several account roles for a merchant. The relationship can be found in the image below:

Master Account

The highest account level, for a user with multiple merchants account, is the Master Account level. The Master Account has all access to the instant-Billings service but with two limitations:

  • Can't change any payment information in the Merchant Settings page
  • Can't directly change payment status of all invoices

Owner Level

The highest account level, for a single merchant account, is the Owner level. The Owner has all access to the instant-Billings service but with two limitations:

  • Can't change any payment information in the Merchant Settings page
  • Can't directly change payment status of all invoices

Merchant Administrator

The Merchant Administrator level can perform every task that the Owner level can but

  • Can't override Owner level access
  • No access to the Payment Option tab in Merchant Settings page

Operation Officer

The Operation Officer level can perform every task that the Merchant Administrator level can but

  • Can't create new accounts for any new users
  • Can't change the Merchant Settings
  • Can't access the Report menu

Employee

The lowest account level is the Employee level. The Employee level can perform every task the Operation Officer level can but

  • Can only change the Invoice Status to Paid manually
  • Can create/edit/delete items, customers and invoices as long as it follows the normal user flow of the instant-Billings service
